Low Melt Polyester Staple Fiber 4D × 51MM (Bicomponent)
OVERAL INTRODUCTION
Low Melt Polyester Staple Fiber is a bicomponent fiber composed of PET core and Co-PET (copolyester) sheath structure. The copolyester component is modified during polymerization to adjust melting point, bonding behavior, flexibility, and softness. This structure enables controlled thermal bonding performance during nonwoven and padding production processes.
The fiber is designed for hot air and thermal bonding applications requiring stable structure formation, softness, and efficient bonding performance. It can also be used in selected nonwoven applications requiring additional structural reinforcement, such as secondary thermal bonding in composite spunlace or hybrid nonwoven systems. The bicomponent structure provides reliable thermal bonding points while maintaining bulkiness, resilience, and good web integrity.
