Dongjindu fibre was established in mainland China in 2005, specializing in the production of polyester staple fibre. Since its founding, the company has focused on manufacturing short-cut cotton-type fibre, microfibre, and bi-component fibre, which are widely used in everyday applications.

In 2019, Dongjindu Tianjin Import and Export Co., Ltd., an extension of Dongjindu fibre, began expanding its polyester staple fibre business to global markets.

Over the years, the company has expanded its product range from raw materials (PSF) to semi-finished products such as polyester yarns.

In addition, Dongjindu has invested in three other plants producing fibers including bi-component fibres (PP, PE), PA-B composite fibres, viscose staple fibres, PLA fibres, and other functional fibres. These products serve a wide range of industries worldwide, including pillow, mattress, quilt, and toy manufacturers (home textile fillings); non-woven product factories (geotextiles and needle-punched non-woven textiles); as well as automotive interior, padding, and yarn manufacturers.

Dongjindu strictly complies with social and environmental standards, including rigorous requirements for environmental protection, chemical restrictions, and responsible practices throughout the supply chain.

All of our recycled products are certified by GRS, and the company is among the leading manufacturers to receive the “Green Fibre Certification.”

In addition, Dongjindu has successfully obtained the “Green Factory” certification issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Furthermore, all of our products meet ISO 9001 quality standards and are certified by SGS and OEKO-TEX 100.

Over the years, the company has also been recognized with multiple honors, including “Green Manufacturer” and “Quality Fiber Manufacturer.”

Dongjindu regards waste reduction as a core principle of our value system. In the collection and processing of post-consumer PET bottles—cleaned, melted, and spun into new fibre—we strictly adhere to this principle. This process significantly reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by repurposing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans. It not only supports a circular economy but also reduces dependence on fossil fuels, aligning with global efforts to promote sustainable practices in the chemical fibre industry.

Our History

2005 — Company Founded

Dongjindu Fibre was founded in Tianjin, focusing on the production and domestic sales of polyester staple fibre in mainland China.

2006 — First Low Melt Fibre Production Line

The company established its first Low Melt Fibre (LMF) production line, marking the start of diversified fibre manufacturing.

2008 — R&D Department Established

A dedicated R&D department was set up to support innovation in synthetic polyester staple fibre.

2009 — Export Company Established

Dongjindu Tianjin Export & Import Co., Ltd. was established as a wholly owned subsidiary to develop international business.

2010 — International Certifications Achieved

The company obtained multiple international certifications, including GRS, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OEKO-TEX®, and SGS, reflecting its quality and environmental management standards.

2012 — Advanced & Eco-Friendly Fibres Launched

Production of bicomponent structure polyester staple fibre and antimony-free (heavy-metal-free) fibre was introduced, expanding the product range.

2013 — Capacity Expansion & Logistics Network

Production capacity expanded to 12 advanced production lines with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons. Logistics warehouses were established in key regions across China.

2017–2019 — Technology & Product Upgrades

Manufacturing technology and product range were further upgraded, including eco-friendly and functional polyester staple fibres.

2020–2024 — Operational & Service Enhancement

Quality control systems, logistics efficiency, and customer service capabilities were continuously strengthened to better support global customers.

Today (2026) — Dongjindu Fibre operates 12 advanced production lines with an annual capacity of 600,000–700,000 tons, supplying both virgin and recycled polyester staple fibre, including hollow and solid fibre, to customers worldwide.
